The Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, manage minor and stabilize long-term illnesses, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe treatments based on established protocols while collaborating closely with Radiologists and the healthcare team. Responsibilities also include participating in patient follow-up care, advocating for patients, and ensuring adherence to institutional safety and patient rights standards.
Candidates must graduate from an approved Nurse Practitioner program and hold current licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts, along with required DEA registrations for prescribing. Preferred experience includes at least six months of practice as an FNP, ANP, or WHENP, and obtaining Breast Health Clinical Navigator certification within 18 months of hire.
