Advanced Practice Providers will deliver comprehensive care to admitted patients throughout their illness, involving initial treatment planning, supportive care during chemotherapy, and post-treatment surveillance in collaboration with physicians. Key duties include performing history and physical exams, ordering diagnostics, prescribing treatments, managing acute medical issues, and performing procedures like bone marrow biopsies.
Candidates must be a Nurse Practitioner with a Master's degree and NH license/eligibility, or a Physician's Assistant certified/eligible in New Hampshire, both requiring academic preparation at the Master's level. Preferred qualifications include Oncology Nurse/Practitioner Certification, CAQ in Hospital Medicine, and experience in Hematology/Oncology or Inpatient Internal Medicine.
