The physician will manage the medical care of their patient panel, including arranging for inpatient hospital care, and will collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations. Responsibilities also include performing and documenting medical histories and physicals, arranging call coverage, and collaborating/teaching advanced practice providers and support staff.
The minimum requirement is a Doctorate in Medicine and less than two years of experience, with board eligibility or certification required in the practicing specialty. Preferred experience is between two to five years.
Role Purpose The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
