Provide direct physical therapy according to the directions of the physical therapist and the physician's plan of care. Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
Candidates must have an active CA Physical Therapy Assistant License and strong verbal and written communication skills. Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with an insured automobile are also required.

include: Providing direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician’s plan of care Treating patients to alleviate pain, restore function, and maximize mobility Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer techniques, and muscle reeducation Utilizing physical therapy modalities such as heat, cold, water therapy, electricity, ultrasound, and massage Observing and reporting changes in patient conditions to the Physical Therapist and clinical team Educating patients on the safe use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and orthotics/prosthetics Completing accurate, timely clinical documentation and notes Requirements Active California Physical Therapist Assistant License Current CPR certification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time‑management abilities Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle Previous home health or hospice experience preferred (but not required) Why Join Bella Terra Home Health & Hospice of the Desert?
