The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures according to established protocols and prepares and administers contrast agents as directed by the radiologist. They ensure quality care in a safe environment while being sensitive to the needs of patients.
Candidates must complete and maintain all required competencies and training, and possess relevant experience. A post high school diploma program and BLS certification are required, along with RT (R) or RT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
