The Medical Assistant will administer and coordinate necessary medical services while ensuring a positive patient experience, handling routine administrative and clinical responsibilities within the facility. Key duties include patient intake procedures, sample collection/testing, vital sign monitoring, and managing patient records and appointments.
Candidates must possess a minimum high school diploma or equivalent and hold a current medical assistant or emergency medical technician certificate from an accredited school, maintaining required continuing education credits. Experience as a medical assistant is required, with preference given to those with post-secondary education and specific certifications like AAMA or AMT.
