The Medical Assistant will administer and coordinate necessary medical services while ensuring a positive patient experience, handling routine administrative and clinical responsibilities. Key duties include obtaining vital signs and blood samples, observing drug screens, managing patient appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records in the EHR.
Candidates must possess a minimum High School Diploma or equivalent and hold a current medical assistant or emergency medical technician certificate from an accredited school. Experience as a medical assistant is required, along with the ability to administer medications and maintain state-required continuing education credits.
