The counselor will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, or groups, focusing on helping clients resolve personal, social, and psychological challenges using evidence-based practices. Key duties include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and managing crisis situations.
Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field and hold current state licensure (LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent), though associate-level licensees under supervision may be considered. Proven experience providing direct clinical services and strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR and assessment tools are essential.
Work Environment This position is typically based in a private practice, community health center, or residential facility. It requires the emotional resilience to manage secondary trauma and the ability to maintain professional boundaries in a clinical setting.
