This position involves following department policies to collect data for verifying and evaluating providers during initial appointment and reappointment processes. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate credentials files and the credentialing database, identifying potential issues, and communicating findings to the Director of the Medical Staff.
Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred) and hold the CPCS certification from NAMSS, along with 1-4 years of progressive experience in Medical Staff Services. Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills are required, with knowledge of MD-Staff software being preferred.
