The primary role involves providing nurse triage support for specialty providers by assessing patient needs via phone or in-basket messages, managing medication refills, and initiating prior authorizations. Additionally, the nurse will complete various procedural tasks in the clinic, including administering vaccinations and providing patient/family education.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited BSN, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Diploma program, with a requirement to obtain a BSN within five years if not already held. A minimum of twelve months of appropriate clinical experience and twelve months of pediatric experience are mandatory, along with current North Carolina RN licensure and BLS certification.
