The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs various professional nursing duties in compliance with Skilled Nursing Facility regulations, including implementing practitioner orders, managing medications and supplies, operating medical equipment, and charting resident status. Responsibilities also involve lifting/transferring residents, initiating emergency treatment, monitoring unlicensed staff, and communicating condition changes to relevant individuals.
Required qualifications include an active Minnesota LPN licensure and current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR certification, with a three-week grace period allowed for BLS. Candidates must possess good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
