The IOP Therapist assists patients in meeting their goals through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health, which includes providing consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services, crisis intervention, and various forms of therapy.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and hold a current Florida LMHC or LCSW license along with CPR certification.
The IOP Therapist performs Clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their goals while enabling them to access, through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by an MD. Provides variety of psychotherapeutic services including, family and individual (adults and children) in an outpatient psychiatric Behavioral Health Center setting. Patient(s), with co-occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse disorders and other behavioral disorders. Evening 4:00-8:30pm
Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
