The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for managing the credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes for all medical providers and maintaining accurate data in databases and online systems. This includes ensuring timely renewals of licenses and certifications for providers and practice locations.
Candidates should be detail-oriented and possess previous credentialing experience, which is considered a plus, along with experience in compliance, billing/coding, or general medical office administration. The role requires maintaining up-to-date provider information and knowledge of current health plan requirements.
NWOS is looking for a detail oriented credentialing specialist who is ready to work 24 hours per week. The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging for all NWOS medical providers. The Credentialing Specialist maintains up-to-date data for each provider and NWOS locations in the credentialing database and online systems to ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications.
This is NOT a remote position but has the potential to develop into a flexible, in-office/remote schedule.
