The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering appropriate, adequate, effective, and efficient direct patient care services under supervision, implementing the physician's plan of care, and coordinating care within an interdisciplinary team. This role also involves obtaining physician orders, preparing aide plans of care, supervising aides, and managing patient supplies.
Candidates must have an Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited curriculum (Bachelor's or Master's) and possess a valid Occupational Therapist license, BLS certification, and a valid Class C Driver's License with auto insurance. A minimum of one year of professional experience is required, with one year in home health or hospice preferred, and direct patient care experience within the last five years is mandatory.
EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
