Core competency involves escorting patients to and from treatment areas while ensuring patient safety according to established organizational policies.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and be enrolled in or have completed an accredited medical assistant training program, requiring knowledge of general medical terminology and current BLS certification. Preferred experience includes 12-18 months as a Medical Assistant or similar role, with preferred clinical competency in Phlebotomy and required computer experience.
