The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing quality rehabilitative occupational therapy, initiating planned, purposeful activity to enhance the physical and psychosocial functioning of the client. This includes developing and implementing care plans, conducting assessments, providing education, and supervising paraprofessionals as needed.
A Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy is required, and at least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care, home health, or rehabilitation is highly preferred. Candidates must hold an active and unencumbered Occupational Therapist license in the state(s) of employment.
