The Physical Therapist must appropriately document all aspects of care, including clinical services, billing, and correspondence with the healthcare team and the public. They must also demonstrate comprehensive clinical knowledge and acceptable performance during all patient/client encounters.
Candidates are required to have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from a CAPTE accredited institution and an unrestricted Physical Therapist license to practice in the State of Louisiana. Completion of residency training or Clinical Specialist board certification is preferred.
