This role involves providing high-quality nursing care, including obtaining initial patient screening histories, performing visual and physical assessments, and assisting medical providers during examinations and treatments. The Licensed Practical Nurse is also responsible for initiating patient education plans, documenting all care accurately in the EHR, and directing the work of ancillary personnel.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse license from any US State or Territory. Required certifications include current BLS, ACLS, and PALS, along with successfully passing a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
This position is responsible for providing the highest quality nursing care to Oyate Health Center (OHC) patients.
