The Occupational Therapist will evaluate children's development to identify needs and strengths, then create and implement individualized therapy plans using play-based and evidence-based approaches. Responsibilities also include collaborating with families and maintaining accurate patient documentation.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy and hold or be in the process of obtaining Alabama licensure. Experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is preferred, alongside strong collaborative and communication skills.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with children of all ages and abilities, empowering them to succeed in their daily lives.
Evaluate children’s sensory, motor, and cognitive development to identify their unique needs and strengths. Create and implement individualized therapy plans to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care tasks, and other developmental goals. Use play-based and evidence-based approaches to engage children in meaningful therapeutic activities. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support holistic care. Provide education and strategies for families to continue supporting progress at home. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adapt plans as needed. Provide supervision for COTAs
Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program - new or upcoming graduates encouraged to apply! Current licensure (or in the process of obtaining) in Alabama as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with children, especially those with special needs (preferred, not required). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on collaboration. Passion for working with children and their families in a dynamic setting.
