The Registered Medical Aide (RMA) will provide individualized, compassionate direct care and support to residents, focusing on their comfort, safety, and well-being according to established care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with medication support duties, monitoring and documenting resident health status, and supporting daily living activities alongside CNAs.
Candidates must possess current Registered Medical Aid Licensure in Virginia and current CPR certification. Preferred qualifications include prior experience supporting care in a clinical or senior living setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a positive, resident-focused attitude.

This job operates in a residential-style nursing environment with normal lighting levels (except where lighting is reduced in resident rooms), comfortable temperature ranges, good air quality, ventilation, and low noise levels. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time. Additionally, employees will routinely sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 60 lbs or less and occasionally more than 60 lbs. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Contact with blood, body fluids. Minimal hazards if required, Universal Precautions are followed.
