The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments and observing patients for any unusual reactions. They also maintain equipment quality control and serve as a resource for physicians.
Candidates must have an Associate in Science degree in radiation therapy and be licensed by the state of Florida. A current BLS certification is required, and one year of experience is preferred.
Required Education and Experience - Associate in Science degree in radiation therapy. Licensed by the state of Florida. Completion of an accredited program. Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment. Preferred Education and Experience - Prefer 1-year experience.
