The LPN Specialist identifies and evaluates patient needs through telephone triage and administers medications as prescribed. They also provide patient and family education and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Practical Nursing program with an active Florida state license and have at least one year of experience in a healthcare facility. CPR certification is required within three months of employment, and IV certification is required for Xpress Care LPNs within the same timeframe.
Required Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and hold an active Florida state license. Additional Credentials/licenses pertinent to the specialty. One-year experience in a health care facility. CPR certification within 3 months of employment. For Xpress Care LPNS only, IV certification required within 3 months of hire/transfer.
