The primary role involves providing benefit enrollment assistance, helping with redetermination requirements, assisting with supplemental food assistance enrollment, and ensuring uninterrupted primary healthcare funding for patients. This position partners with Finance and Operations to maintain patient benefits and oversees the Expediting Entitlements Program processes, including tracking statistics and coordinating reviews.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills, along with computer proficiency for electronic documentation. A valid driver's license and personal transportation are mandatory requirements for this role.

Provide benefit enrollment assistance, assist with redetermination requirements, assist with enrollment in supplemental food assistance programs, and partner with patients to ensure primary healthcare funding is uninterrupted. Partners with the Finance and Operations departments to ensure patients’ benefits are maintained.
1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
2. Contact other providers to continually confirm their knowledge of the role that they and this agency play in the expediting entitlements county-wide collaborative process.
3. Schedule and attend appointments with SSA, DDS, and OHS (and possibly other providers) as needed.
4. Gather and assist with the completion of all DHS/SSI/SSDI worksheet/application packets to expedite approval for Social Security and/or Medicaid.
5. Gather, copy, and submit necessary identification and financial information (income, receipts, bills, identification, etc.)
6. Obtain and maintain a supply of release of information forms from providers for the Expediting entitlements project
7. Become an expert on the Expediting Entitlements Program process (may require attending trainings or reading training manuals)
8. Develop and/or adapt an evaluation tool to be utilized by the consumers and the program.
9. Main contact person with the Directors of Expediting Entitlements Program partner organizations.
10. Oversee and be responsible for the maintenance of statistics related to the progress of the participants in the program as well as the program itself.
11. Maintain Communication with other programs to ensure progress is being made with each client.
12. Monthly status reports indicate the number of individuals who have started, are in process, and have completed the process.
13. Schedule and coordinate the peer review team to review the applications prior to being submitted.
14. Any other tasks and/or responsibilities that are required to ensure the success of the Expediting entitlements program.
15. Perform secure handling of cardholder data, including encryption, data storage limitations, and adherence to security protocols.
16. Participate in mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) training, access controls, and regular security assessments, all aligned with PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) guidelines.
17. Maintain individual expediting entitlements client caseload.
18. Develop a streamlined process for applying for benefits.
19. Transport and assist consumers with appointments relating to obtaining benefits.
20. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
21. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and expectations of Rosecrance.
22. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
23. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients, and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
