This role involves assisting professional nursing personnel by providing direct patient care, including support with activities of daily living and performing complex clinical skills under supervision. Essential functions include monitoring vital signs, documenting care accurately, maintaining a clean patient environment, and assisting with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
Candidates must have completed a course for nursing assistants and possess a current Nursing Assistant Certification along with BLS Certification. A minimum of six months' experience in an acute or long-term care facility is required, and fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is mandatory.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role. (Preferred) Licenses/Certification CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice Upon Hire (Required) and BCLS - Basic Life Support Like AHA or Red Cross Within Facility-Specified time frame (Required) Experience 6 months in an acute care or long-term care facility (Preferred)
