The role involves performing all phases of diagnostic medical cardiac sonography to deliver high-quality diagnostic exams and patient care. Responsibilities also include collecting data, documenting procedures, assisting physicians, and managing resources like supplies and equipment effectively.
Candidates must be certified or eligible for certification by ARDMS in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or RCS from CCI. Additionally, BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire before providing direct patient care.
Performs all phases of diagnostic medical cardiac sonography to provide high quality diagnostic exams and patient care. Collect Pertinent Data & Document Procedure Assist Physicians with Procedures Participate in the responsible management of healthcare resources, including personnel, supplies and equipment Maintain an effective schedule and revise as necessary to retain a minimal waiting period on exams
Certified or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
