The primary responsibilities involve the sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases, along with performing frozen sections and intraoperative consultations. The pathologist will also oversee select areas of clinical pathology and participate in quality initiatives and multidisciplinary discussions.
Candidates must possess a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in AP/CP. Eligibility for a Kentucky medical license, along with excellent diagnostic and interpersonal skills, is required for this team-based role.
PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our hospital-based practice in Owensboro, Kentucky. Candidates based in the Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Evansville, IN; Indianapolis, IN, and Cincinnati, OH areas are encouraged to apply, as this role offers a hybrid schedule consisting of approximately two weeks per month of on-site coverage in Owensboro and two weeks per month of remote sign-out.
