The Physical Therapist Assistant performs treatments and provides exercise instruction and patient education to enhance patient well-being according to the established plan of care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Key duties include instructing patients in various therapies, observing and reporting patient responses, and instructing family/caregivers on participation in therapy.
Applicants must hold a current license, registration, or certification to assist in physical therapy practice in the state of Oregon, along with a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Preferred qualification includes current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
