• Unit is on the second floor of the patient tower and includes: One triage room 5 spacious Labor and Delivery suites Two with labor tubs One OR Newborn Nursery RESPONSIBILITIES The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, high quality, direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process to care for mothers and their newborns. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse population and possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others with a non-judgmental attitude. Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and appropriately adapt to diverse and high-risk situations to offer the best possible care to patients. Ability to manage time in an organized fashion, planning and prioritizing work under pressure.
