The Behavioral Intervention Specialist will design, implement, and monitor Behavior Support Plans for adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings, while also collecting and analyzing behavioral data to guide clinical revisions. This role involves training Direct Support Professionals on intervention implementation and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, with Board Certification in Behavioral Analysis preferred, and post-Master's experience in a behavioral or clinical field, preferably working with persons with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate balances professionalism with empathy, demonstrates strong data analysis and communication skills, and can maintain a calm presence during crises.
