This role involves managing patient flow, performing essential clinical tasks like recording histories, taking vital signs, administering medications, and conducting in-office diagnostic tests. The assistant is also responsible for maintaining supplies, managing medical records, and assisting with scheduling and communication.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with a Vocational/Technical degree as a Medical Assistant or in a related field. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required, and at least one year of experience in a clinic or office setting is preferred.
Responsible for receiving patients, determines their needs and directs them accordingly. Performs optimal ambulatory health care to patients; stocks and maintains exam rooms and nurse’s stations.
High School Diploma/GED required, Vocational/Technical degree as Medical Assistant or Related field required.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required. CPR preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year experience as MA in a Clinic/Office is preferred,
