The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases, being responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experience in various surgical specialties like ENT, General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Urology is required.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing and hold an active RN license in the state, along with required BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications. A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Circulator and the ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment are mandatory qualifications.
