The EEG Technician performs electroencephalograms (EEGs) and evoked potential (EVP) tests to aid in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, requiring patient assessment and accurate procedure execution. Candidates should ideally have completed formal EEG Technician training from a technical school, though 0-2 years of relevant clinical experience performing EEGs is required. A mandatory requirement is holding a Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
