Mass General Brigham Community Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join our team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. This opportunity includes a .5 FTE clinical Infectious Disease physician role, with the option for an additional .25 FTE dedicated to antimicrobial stewardship for interested and qualified candidates, for a total of up to .75 FTE. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultation services within a collaborative, community-based hospital setting. It will provide the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, support antimicrobial stewardship initiatives, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities · Provide inpatient infectious disease consultations at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. · Support outpatient infectious disease services, including hospital follow-up and specialty consultative care. · Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, primary care providers, and specialty teams to coordinate comprehensive patient management. · Contribute to quality improvement efforts and evidence-based clinical protocol development. · Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with billing and regulatory standards. · Participate in call coverage as part of the infectious disease team. · Support a collegial, team-based culture aligned with Mass General Brigham values.
