The employee is responsible for the timely and professional setup of highly technical respiratory equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units, while also providing technical assistance and performing complete patient assessments. Key duties include providing patient education, maintaining organized patient records, and adhering strictly to all applicable safety and regulatory policies.
Candidates must possess clinical authorization within their scope of practice and maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques, often requiring a minimum of two years of experience in home healthcare for Level 2 roles. A valid driver's license is mandatory for travel to patients' homes, and the role involves mandatory on-call work during evenings and weekends.
