Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in accordance with facility policies and standards. This includes participating in the implementation and evaluation of patient care while ensuring patient health, comfort, and safety.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited LVN program and possess a current state nursing license, along with BLS certification obtained during orientation. Preferred experience includes one year full-time or three years part-time in an acute care setting.
Graduate of an accredited LVN program. Completion of IV therapy certification course (or obtained within six months of employment) BLS (or obtained during orientation) De-escalation training (obtained CPI within six months of employment) in required specialty. Current state nursing license. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Prefer one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting. Other certifications specific to unit may be required.
