The Occupational Therapist conducts assessments, devises treatment plans based on physician referrals, and documents patient progress across various settings including outpatient and inpatient care. Essential functions include reviewing referrals, administering prescribed treatments, creating custom equipment, and developing programs focused on functional and vocational skills.
Applicants must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of practice or meet trainee qualifications, and preferably have 2 years of experience in an equivalent setting. Required skills include appropriate application of age-specific standards, general computer proficiency, analytical abilities, and strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
