The Patient Care Technician provides direct bedside care, assists with activities of daily living, and monitors vital signs under RN supervision. Additionally, the role involves performing phlebotomy, collecting specimens, and assisting with patient admissions and discharges.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be either a licensed professional or a second-semester nursing student with hands-on experience. BLS certification is required, and a CNA, EMT, or CMA certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
