The role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medication for inpatient populations, while actively participating in daily rounding and treatment planning meetings. Responsibilities also include collaborating with the care team to ensure quality patient care and assisting with discharge planning and documentation.
Candidates must be a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience, and must be licensed or license-eligible in Tennessee, including obtaining a Tennessee DEA. Applicants should be comfortable in an inpatient psychiatric setting, possess strong clinical judgment for acute presentations, and be committed to collaborative, patient-centered care.
