Veterinarians will be responsible for seeing all presenting patients during daytime shifts, performing triage, stabilization, diagnosis, and treatment, including urgent and emergency soft tissue surgeries. They must maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients in high-stress situations.
Candidates must possess a DVM or equivalent degree and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas, with a willingness to hold the required Professional Corporation in their name. Strong surgical confidence and the ability to make independent clinical decisions are essential, motivated by both clinical excellence and financial growth.

Key Responsibilities See all patients presenting during your shift (no exceptions without leadership approval) Triage, stabilize, diagnose, and treat patients Perform urgent and emergency soft tissue surgeries Refer cases only after appropriate in-hospital workup Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Communicate effectively with clients in high-stress situations Collaborate with team members and follow established workflows
Surgical Requirements Soft tissue surgery Emergency abdominal procedures (foreign bodies, GDV stabilization, splenic cases) Pyometra surgery Wound repair and laceration management Mentorship is available, but candidates must be willing to perform surgery.
Professional Corporation Requirement In accordance with Texas law, veterinary practices must operate under a Professional Corporation (PC) owned by a licensed veterinarian. The selected candidate will be required to hold the PC in their name. Full legal and administrative support will be provided.
