The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role also involves supporting nursing staff with patient transport, maintaining cleanliness in surgical areas, and performing essential administrative tasks.
Candidates must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant professional license in the State of Indiana and current certification in Basic Life Support. Essential competencies include strong judgment, problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail, alongside the physical ability to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is responsible for treatment and care of our surgical patient’s environment. The CNA will work in the direct supervision of a registered nurse while in a patient care environment. The CNA work within the context of the licensure as part of surgical team to provide care to individuals before, during and after a surgical procedure.
