The primary responsibility involves performing CT exams and routine diagnostic radiology procedures on patients across all age groups, utilizing specialized equipment and adhering to established protocols. This includes preparing patients, administering contrast materials, operating injectors, performing reconstructions, and assisting radiologists with specialized procedures.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with ARRT registration in R and CT (or just CT) and current State of Rhode Island Radiographer and Diagnostic Computed Tomography Licenses. A minimum of three months of experience in routine diagnostic radiology or CT exams, along with current CPR certification, is required.
Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent required., ARRT (R,CT) registered with current State of RI Radiographer License and current State of Rhode Island Diagnostic Computed Tomography License or ARRT (CT) with current State of Rhode Island Diagnostic Computed Tomography License. At least 3 months experience performing routine diagnostic radiology or CT exams. Current CPR certification. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit 7 or more hours, stand/squat 1-3 hours, walk 3-7 and lift 10-35 with good body mechanics. Moderate twisting and frequent bending required. Must be able to use both hands and wrists with frequent fine motor movement and moderate repetition. Near vision must be accurate at 20/20, far vision 20/40 and accurate depth perception with minimal color discrimination. Must hear whisper at three feet.
