The Physician Assistant provides medical and procedural dermatology care to patients through both in-person and virtual settings. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, and managing specialized clinics such as Wound Care and Alopecia.
A Master's Degree for Physician Assistants and a valid state license are required. Experience as a licensed PA and specific experience in dermatology are preferred.

The Physician Assistant participates in the delivery of both in-person and virtual care across Ambulatory Dermatology practice sites, including 221 Longwood Ave., 850 Boylston St., Brigham Faulkner, Westwood, and Foxborough. The PA provides medical dermatology care for established patients within the Dermatology practice and supports procedural care through both assistance and the independent performance of approved clinical functions. Primary responsibilities include general medical dermatology (non-cosmetic) as well as subspecialty care, including but not limited to Wound Care Clinic, Alopecia Clinic, Itch Clinic, and Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinic. This role includes approximately 30% to 50% virtual dermatology care, as well as participation in the inpatient consult service. The Physician Assistant works closely with the supervising physician in the delivery of both virtual and in-person patient care.
