The coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and training new volunteers on hospice philosophy and regulations, and providing volunteers according to the patient's Plan of Care. This role also involves developing the volunteer program in collaboration with the IDG and administration, and establishing public relations to support volunteer and community relations.
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable, along with experience in volunteer recruitment and management. Candidates must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of volunteer program resources, and have a current driver's license with reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
