The LPN provides safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process to help them attain or maintain optimal health status. This includes completing required documentation, delivering effective relationship-based care, and demonstrating technical skills for safe practice and positive outcomes.
Candidates must have completed an accredited practical nurse program or be currently enrolled in a nursing program, possess an Ohio LPN license or Multi-State Compact License, and hold a required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire. Level II requires 2+ years of nursing experience, 18 CNEs annually, 3 Peer Reviews, and Committee Involvement.
