The Nursing Support Technician delivers high-quality patient care and performs delegated procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for observing, reporting, and recording patient conditions within an acute care facility.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and have successfully completed a CNA program. A current Maryland state CNA license and Healthcare Provider level CPR certification are required.
The Nursing Support Technician (NST) participates as a member of the healthcare team in the delivery of high quality patient care. Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, the NST performs delgated patient care and procedures and observes reports and records patient conditions and information. The NST assists the healthcare team with specific treatments and/or procedures in the acute care facility.

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
