The pharmacy intern provides operational support in the processing, production, and distribution of pharmaceuticals. They also participate in clinical and administrative functions under pharmacist supervision to gain practical experience.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy or pre-pharmacy program. Registration or eligibility for a Pharmacy Intern license in the State of Connecticut is required.

The intern will also actively participate in clinical and administrative functions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to augment their education and to gain insight and practical experience in their future roles as pharmacists.
