Deliver comprehensive medical care for patients ages 5 and older and work closely with an interdisciplinary mental health team. Complete initial medical evaluations and provide follow-ups, diagnostics, and discharge planning.
Candidates must have an active Alaska NP/APRN license and be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. A minimum of 1 year of inpatient or acute care experience is preferred, with a focus on behavioral health being a plus.
Full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner needed for an inpatient behavioral health center. Deliver comprehensive medical care for patients ages 5 and older. Work closely with an interdisciplinary mental health team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
7 days on w/7 days off block schedule; 10-hour shifts Complete initial medical evaluations & H&Ps w/in 24-hrs of admission Provide follow-ups, diagnostics & discharge planning Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists & support staff Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications & lifestyle changes Competitive salary, benefits, malpractice, PTO/CME/relo, retirement & more
Active Alaska NP/APRN license or ability to obtain Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program AANPCB Board Certification Minimum 1 yr inpatient or acute care exp preferred (behavioral health a plus) Strong communication, collaboration & patient-first approach
