Dental Aide

Position summary

• This is an entry level clinical position for motivated individuals with limited dental knowledge or experience.
• Successful retention is dependent on meeting time sensitive performance benchmarks that demonstrate acquisition of clinical training.
• Under direct supervision of the Dental Team Leader, this position primarily supports the dentist and/or dental hygienist in the performance of infection control protocols and when necessary, general dental chairside procedures.
• The individual is expected to possess the cognitive skills and resourcefulness to quickly learn and perform all services in accordance with established protocols and within predetermined training timelines.
• Work behavior should demonstrate an ability to work cooperatively with other members and punctual/ reliable attendance.

Education/Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent education required

2. Driver’s license preferred
