The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality images for physician interpretation that meet departmental standards, requiring competence across various imaging equipment and technology. They must practice proper safety guidelines for all personnel and patients while fostering teamwork through effective communication to ensure a high level of patient service.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited radiography program and hold ARRT certification in Radiography, along with appropriate state licensure if required, and current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include Radiologic Technologist experience, and the ability to work varied hours, shifts, and respond to on-call needs.
