The Chaplain Resident responds to the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, family members, and employees while fulfilling all educational and clinical requirements for the ACPE-Clinical Pastoral Education residency program. Responsibilities include participating in mission programs, meeting spiritual needs through assessment and intervention, and collaborating with co-workers to achieve departmental goals.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and have completed one unit of ACPE-Clinical Pastoral Education, along with six months of experience in a helping role. The role requires frequent physical activity including lifting, standing, walking, and using vision and hearing extensively, with occasional heavier lifting and bending.
